Thursday, December 9th @ 6:30 pm @ Walker Library Large Meeting room, 2880 Hennepin Avenue (Hennepin & Lagoon) Minneapolis

Video from the AWC’s 2010 Human Rights Day Panel Discussion.

Summary: We are fighting here to end US military aid to the apartheid Israeli government and to the death squad government of Colombia. Meanwhile activists in Palestine and Colombia are fighting for peace with justice in their homelands. The FBI is investigating the Anti-War Committee and a US Attorney is using a grand jury to intimidate and potentially to indict folks on charges of “material support for terrorism.”

Panelists include: Jess Sundin, Anti-War Commmitee; Katrina Plotz, Anti-War Committee, and Bruce Nestor, National Lawyers Guild
