On May 17th, the L.A. Sheriff’s SWAT team and the FBI stormed the home of veteran Chicano activist Carlos Montes. He was arrested on trumped-up charges and questioned about his political affiliations.
Montes joins the list of 23 anti-war and international solidarity activists that are facing a Grand Jury investigation and FBI harassment because of their political beliefs.
Join a national protest of this federal repression on June 16th, Montes’ court date. Stand in solidarity with Carlos Montes and the other 23 activists facing FBI harassment and a Grand Jury witch hunt!
Organized by the MN Committee to Stop FBI Repression and the MN Immigrants Rights Action Committee (MIRAc). FFI: http://mnstopfbi.wordpress.com/
