Protest Isreali Defense Force Lawyer, Moshe Halbertal, Defending Israeli Attacks on Palestinians as “Ethical” at the U

Tuesday, November 3rd, 3:30 pm – 5pm outside of the U of M Law School, Mondale Hall 25 on the West Bank in Minneapolis.
The U of M is hosting Moshe Halbertal for a special lecture at the U of M Law School to give the talk “Protecting Civilians: Moral Challenges of Asymmetric Warfare.” Halbertal co-authored the military code of ethics which guides the conduct of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) during its bombing campaigns in Gaza, the rounding up of Palestinians for detention without change, and the military occupation of Palestine. Halbertal criticized the Goldstone Report which points to the atrocities committed by the Israeli Defense Forces against the civilian population in Gaza.
Join us for a protest to denounce Halbertal’s alleged expertise on ethics and to demand the U of M not use our tax dollars to promote war crimes.
