“I am calling to express my opposition to the Trump ‘Peace Plan’. He is claiming to solve for the Palestinian/Israeli conflict while excluding Palestinian voices at the peace table. The Trump administration hasn’t included any core issues Palestinians want – like the right to return – so the plan is doomed to fail. Additionally Trump can’t be seen as a peace negotiator by the Palestinians when he has defunded UNRWA, the U.N.’s agency for Palestinian refugees, and moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem. I want the senator/representative to push for an end to this charade of “peace talks” and to call for call for the US to restore funding to UNRWA.”
