Call in to demand justice for Tariq Abu Khdeir
Muhammad and Tarek Abu Khdeir are Palestinian youth with family members here in the Twin Cities.
Sixteen year old Muhammad was kidnapped by Israeli settlers on his way to Fajr (morning) prayer in Jerusalem, and his body turned up in a field shortly after being tortured and burned alive. Fifteen year old Tariq is a U.S. citizen from Florida who was assaulted by the Israeli police and is currently being held under house arrest. Photos of Tarek and video of the beating were circulated on the internet.
USPCN has initiated at national call-in day on Monday, July 7th. The AWC urges all our supporters to join this effort and call on U.S. Congresswoman Kathy Castor (202.225.3376), and U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (813.287.5035) and Bill Nelson (813.225.7040), to intervene on behalf of their constituent.
You can use this sample script:

I would like to ask Representative/Senator ____ to call on the U.S. State Department to 1) launch an investigation into Tarek’s beating and 2) demand that Israel immediately end his house arrest.”
