Don’t make protesters pay for free speech! Stop Minnesota HF322.

HF322/SF679 gives the green light to local governments to file civil suits against individual protesters, supposedly to “cover the expenses of the police” who happen to be on duty during rallies. This would punish protesters for voicing our concerns. The bill is now awaiting a hearing in the House Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance Committee. A Senate hearing has not yet been scheduled. Call your Representative and Senator to tell them to oppose the bill!
