Emergency Bannering: Stop US Support for Israeli Massacres!

April 9th marks the 70th anniversary of Deir Yassin, the Palestinian village where in 1948 100 men, women, and children were systematically murdered by Israeli commandos. Every year Palestinians across the world mark Deir Yassin and demand the right to return to their homeland. This year however Deir Yassin coincides with a growing resistance movement in Gaza and an ongoing brutal Israeli military response. Join us to stand in solidarity with Palestine and to demand an end to U.S. support for Israel’s war crimes! As the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights explains, “The tragedy lies not only in the killing of Palestinians, but in the responses of Israel and the United States to this massacre…The message that Israel and the United States have sent is that Palestinian lives are dispensable, unworthy of any investigation, even when it is clear that their lives were taken unlawfully. …This is why the time has come for an arms embargo and sanctions against apartheid Israel, similar to the arms embargo that was imposed by the United Nations against apartheid South Africa.” Let’s send a message to the MN Congressional delegation of support for a Free Palestine!
