November 5, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Screening – “FEDAYIN: Georges Abdallah’s Fight”
Friday, November 5th at 7 p.m.@ 4200 Cedar Ave S, Minneapolis
Georges Abdallah is a Lebanese Arab communist who has been imprisoned in France since 1984 for his involvement in the struggle for the liberation of Palestine — and Lebanon — from Zionist occupation, making him the longest-held political prisoner in Europe. Join us for a screening of Vacarmes Films’ new documentary, “FEDAYIN,” which covers Abdallah’s life fighting for the Palestinian cause, from Gaza, to Lebanon, to Europe, and back.
French authorities continue to hold Abdallah despite his eligibility for release since 1999. This screening is part of a worldwide campaign for his release called by Samidoun Palestinian Prisoners Solidarity Network.
In-person screening will be followed by a discussion at 4200 Cedar Ave, Mpls. Please use good COVID safety. Capacity will be limited and masks are required.
Or, watch it remotely on Zoom. Register here.
