Join us to hear from Vijay Prashad talk about his new book Washington Bullets: A History of the CIA, Coups, and Assassinations (2020; Monthly Review Press, 162 pages) and to interact with the author. As former Bolivian President Evo Morales (who was himself deposed by a US-backed coup in 2019) writes in the book’s preface, “The courageous Indian historian and journalist Vijay Prashad has put his all into explaining and providing a digestible and comprehensive way of understanding the sinister interest with which imperialism intervenes in countries that attempt to build their own destiny.”
