Call Ellison to Say We Want a Dear Colleague Letter!

Dear Supporters,

We have really appreciated your calls to Obama and Holder demanding an end to the attacks on the anti-war and international activists and to this grand jury witch hunt. We think a Dear Colleague letter circulating Congress calling Obama’s attention to the increasing attacks on civil liberties – particularly for activists in the peace and international solidarity movements. We have asked Representative Ellison to author and circulate a Dear Colleague letter and he has said that he is considering it but hasn’t agreed to do it. Our legislative work across the country would benefit from having a letter that other supportive members of Congress could sign.
