LABOR COOKOUT: Social & Skill Share!
Sunday 8/10 @ 1pm @ Lucy Parsons Center, 4100 S 28th St. Minneapolis
Join @antiwarmn, @miracmn and @mnworkersunited for our first community social and skill-share! We will be grilling and chilling in community with one another, but more importantly we will have multiple organizer-led workshops focused on:
-Defending immigrants from Trump’s onslaught and combatting common forms of anti-immigrant rhetoric in the workplace.
-Union and workplace organizing in the face of anti-labor legislation and the ins and outs of a contract campaign.
-How to continue and intensify the campaign for divestment from apartheid in Minnesota and advance the struggle for a free Palestine.
Food and beverages will be served, and vegan and gluten free options will be available.
