Protest: Stop Endless U.S. Wars
Friday, March 26th @ 5 PM @ the office of U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, 1200 Washington Ave S, Minneapolis
March 2021 marks 18 years after the U.S. invasion of Iraq. The U.S. continues the endless series of wars and military interventions around the world. The Biden Administration now wants to stay in Afghanistan, even after the U.S. made an agreement to leave by May 1. U.S. troops remain, and bombings and drone strikes continue, in Iraq, Syria, and elsewhere. The effects of U.S. militarism around the world are felt at home with militarization of police and brutalization of communities at home. The wars abroad are felt on the streets at home, as funds for housing, jobs, health care and other human needs go to the Pentagon war machine. Initiated by Minnesota Peace Action Coalition.
