Friday, June 12th @ 5:30 PM outside of Senator Klobuchar’s office, 1200 S Washington Ave, Minneapolis
We will be marching so please plan accordingly! We will begin the march at Amy Klobauchar’s Office and march to Hennepin County Jail @ 401 S 4th Ave as the decision for DACA’s fate is unclear. Which will result 800,000 young immigrants to lose their protection for deportation. We MUST stand together to make out voices heard. The historic uprising for justice has further exposed the systemic racism in this country. Join MIRAC to demand full legalization for DACA recipients and for all immigrants and an end to the militarization of our communities and the crimes committed daily by police and ICE agents. To protect against COVID-19, everyone that comes should wear a mask, and we encourage social distancing while participating. Organized by the MN Immigrant Rights Action Committee.
