Take Action! Voice Your Opposition to US Aid to Israel
Friday, July 21, 2017 from 4:30-5:30 pm @ the intersection of Snelling and Summit Avenues in St. Paul
This summer the House Appropriations Cmte & the House and Senate Armed Services Cmtes approved the U.S.-Israel missile defense assistance & cooperation in the 2018 defense appropriations & authorizations bills which provides a total of $705 million for U.S.-Israel cooperative missile defense systems. The funding represents a $558 million increase from President Donald Trump’s budget request for these programs, & $105 million over last year’s adopted funding level.
Join the weekly vigil for a free Palestine at the intersection of Summit and Snelling in St. Paul from 4:30 – 5:30 pm on Friday, July 21st to increase visibility of the cost of US aid to Israel. If you can’t come, call your member of Congress to speak out against US aid to Israel. It’d be even better if you could do both!
