Saturday, December 4, 9:30 AM. Refreshments, 10:00 A.M. to Noon program and discussion @ Southdale Hennepin County Library, 7001 York Avenue South, Edina
Join a panel of young people from Palestine, both from Gaza and the West Bank, as they talk about their experiences both here and at home. These high school and college students will share the interesting and harrowing stories of their quest to get to the United States. Learn what it is like to live in an occupied land as a young person, the daily challenges that they must face, and the resources they draw on to survive. Get their views of the political situation back home and their hopes and dreams for their own and their country’s future. These are extraordinary young people who are tomorrow’s leaders. Come to hear what they have to say. There will be time for your questions as well.
