Out of Afghanistan! Bring the Troops Home Now! All US Troops Out of Iraq! No Attack on Iran! Aid for the people of Pakistan, Not Drone Attacks! Money for Schools Not for War and Occupation.
October 2010 will mark nine years of the U.S. war in Afghanistan, a war that is escalating daily. The war in Afghanistan is steadily escalating into Pakistan, even as the people of that country face a horrendous flood disaster. 50,000 U.S. troops will remain in Iraq. All this while millions are unemployed, losing their homes and schools and needed services face budget cuts.
From October 7 – 16 there will be local anti-war protests in cities across the U.S. to mark the 9 years of the war in Afghanistan with a call for peace. Join the October 16 event in Minneapolis. Join with others throughout the country during this week of coordinated action.
